O'Neal sets hot pace in the fashion game. Injured
Shaq may be sidelined but wardrobe is on center stage. O'Neal comments

Clopton (Doc Sizzle), does a great job with both those issues." Clopton states
"I met Shaq after a game. Shaq said he liked what I had on and asked
where did I get it. I said I designed it myself. He called the next
morning... I've been making clothes for him ever since."

"Clothier to Hoop
Stars"

they could be wearing a custom-made VIP original by Gregory Clopton. In
1992, Clopton and Ralph Walker formed VIP, working out of Clopton's Atlanta
aparment. While athletes have traditionally patronized private tailors and
designer, Clopton and Walker are among a few black entrepreneurs who have cut a
slice of this lucrative market for themselves. Clopton describes his
clothes
as "class with flash."
